Laine Hunt has had a wonderful and varied career. She worked in New York's garment district for a young fashion company. On returning to the UK, Laine worked with Sir Terence Conran to design and create a new retail brand. After a period in the fashion industry, Laine moved to Cornwall where her love of nature and the outdoors grew. Laine assists Martin with the daily running of Adventureline. Together with Martin and associate guides, she is committed to Adventureline's philosophy of enriching our guests lives, enjoying work on a daily basis, providing impeccable customer service and promoting long-term sustainability of ecology, economy and community. |

Paul Simmons, associate guide in Cornwall. Paul lives on a smallholding just north of the beautiful Helford River with his wife Ceri, their three children and a growing menagerie of animals. He has been a qualified Green Guide since 2001 and in 2007 he completed an MA in Cornish Studies. Paul is very passionate to share the unique qualities and mysteries of Cornwall with you. He is an experienced "all rounder" who imparts his knowledge with humor and enthusiasm. Paul has been a professional piano entertainer and session musician for 26 years. If you happen to stop for a Cornish cream tea at one of his venues whilst walking with him, you may enjoy an impromptu live performance!!

Goffredo Filibeck, Tuscany and Dolomites (Italy) local guide. Graduated in Natural Sciences at Rome University and Ph.D. in Plant Ecology from Florence University, Goffredo worked at Rome University as a lecturer in Conservation Biology. Since 2006, he has lived and worked in Viterbo – a small medieval city half-way between Rome and Tuscany, as an Assistant Professor of Plant Ecology at the local university. Goffredo writes for some Italian travel magazines, has authored a guidebook to the Sila National Park and has worked for a popular TV programme on science and ecology. He has been a tour leader for many Italian hiking organizations, designing and guiding long-distance treks in Tuscany and Lazio. Goffredo met Martin in Morocco in 2001 and since then they have led many tours together in Tuscany, Lazio, The Dolomites, Sardinia and Sicily. He loves to share his enthusiasm for the manifold variety of Italian landscapes and cuisine in the places he is particularly fond of, such as the romantic shores of Maremma (Tuscany) or the remote valleys of South Tyrol (Dolomites, eastern Alps)

John Sidgwick, Cotswolds local guide. John has lived in The Cotswolds for some 20 years and has a keen interest in all things local, from which he has gained an immense store of knowledge - which he imparts with an infectious enthusiasm. John is one of Martin's oldest friends, having both met in the wonderful and heady days of surfing in Cornwall, back in 1970! His wife Carole is a Blue Badge guide and sometimes accompanies the walks too, imparting her local historical knowledge with humour and grace.

Luca Panaro is a graduate in Geology and an official Italian hiking guide and a Nordic Walking Instructor. He works as a guide in the whole of Italy (starting in 1990 on the Volcanoes of Sicily) and also in Spain, Norway, Cyprus, Greece and Germany and Argentina. Luca is a NLP Coach and Skills Trainer working with companies and private businesses and a fully qualified Walking Group Leader Trainer for The National Association of Hiking Guides, teaching individuals to become guides. This work is very important to him and he is committed to enabling trainees to improve the quality of tourism, especially in Italy. One of Luca's pleasures in life is showing our guests beautiful and interesting places and sights, fauna and flora. Luca shares Adventureline's philosophy, values, ethics and passion for Nature and (especially) good local food. In fact for Luca, it is a big pleasure to prepare tasty healthy picnics... he's waiting for you in Tuscany, The Dolomites and The Amalfitanian Coast!

Mike Stuart, Picos de Europa (Spain) local guide. Living in the Picos for many years, these mountains are now Mike's home. Brought up in England, he was given his first grounding in mountaincraft by his mountaineer father Ian Stuart who has been on various expeditions around the world, including the Himalaya with Chris Bonnington. For 8 years Mike lived in the Swiss Alps, working as a ski guide. He moved to live permanently in Spain in 1991 with his wife Lisa and their three children. Mike is a fully-qualified Mountain Leader and has great experience walking, climbing and montain biking in The Picos de Europa. |

Slimane Baadoud, Morocco local guide. Slimane is an experienced mountain guide and was the first president of the Mountain Guide's Association in Morocco. He has worked closely with Adventureline International providing all ground services for our many treks there (some 19 or so) since 1996. No one knows the remote regions of Morocco better than Slimane! He has close ties with wonderful Berber villagers, making the organisation of our treks there all the more friendly. |

Rachael Hunt (Martin's daughter) joined the Cornwall team in April 2012 and bought her infectious humour and happy spirit to all who walked with her. This spring, Rachael and her partner Dave will be having their first child, so her continuing involvement in the family business will now go on hold! She recently completed a course in Cornish Geology and Mining history. |
